Editor’s Note: Yes, we’ve reviewed a mod! It’s true that this isn’t something IGN normally does, but seeing as Fallout London is a project on a scale that rivals a full game, we’ve made an exception. It’s easy to see how a long-running series could fall into a rut. As gameplay conventions become increasingly entrenched, lore bloats, and deviation from what fans expect becomes riskier, it creates a lot of inertia in one direction that can be hard to redirect.

The Union premeires August 16 on Netflix. “All dressed up with nowhere to go is” an apt description for The Union, a shamefully safe, terribly unclever action-caper starring Mark Wahlberg as a flighty construction worker and Halle Berry as his former high school flame who now works for a secret spy agency. Rather than provide genuine laughs or palpable thrills, The Union instead checks off boxes, unspooling a bland, predictable movie while wasting its stars, budget, and foreign locations.

I’d like to invite anyone surprised to hear that director Fede Álvarez and Alien are a match made in space hell to stop reading this and watch his 2013 remake of The Evil Dead (but, like, come back after.) It was the first time in 20 years the Necronomicon was opened, and horror fans pinned the survival of the beloved franchise on the young director’s efforts. That faith was rewarded with one of the most effective horror remakes ever, and that ability to both honor and modernize a sacred text of the genre is the most obvious explanation for the success of Alien: Romulus.

The Hisense U8N aims squarely at the top-end mini LED television market, positioning itself directly against the Samsung QN90D and the LG QNED 90T while coming in significantly cheaper. Spec for spec, the U8N trades blows evenly with both, and if you’re willing to deal with the occasional operating system bug, you’ll find a lot to like. For the last several years, I’ve been a fan of the performance and price of Hisense televisions, but I’ve never overly praised them for their design.

The almost parodically melodramatic characters and odd combination of genres that make up Dustborn lead to an eye-rolling first impression, but as my crew of mutated misfits traveled across America whacking people with an upgraded baseball bat and talking about our feelings, I realized that there’s a lot more to it than I first thought. Dustborn is tackling big ideas, and it’s doing it with robots in bunny hats, broken-hearted biker queens, and science-fiction squid things.

This is thanks to the new Zen 5 architecture, which is much more efficient than Zen 4 but without the steep power requirements.

A processor like the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X is going to be a beast no matter what – strapped with 16 cores and 32 threads, this CPU is basically built for hardcore creative workloads. However, because it can also boost up to 5.7GHz and has 64GB of speedy L3 cache, it’s also a powerhouse for gaming – even if it’s a bit overkill for your average gaming rig. The Ryzen 9 9950X does arrive after the Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X fell a little flat when compared with their predecessors, but it doesn’t share the same problems.
